Meeting Objectives/Outcomes
  • Establish a regional policy dialogue mechanism among higher education stakeholders in Southeast Asia countries.
  • Address issues of responsible and effective use of GenAI in higher education, and provide policy recommendation and promising cases for higher education policymakers, management and teaching personnels in accordance with the contexts in Southeast Asia countries.
  • Release a localized regional policy recommendation on integration of GenAI in higher education.
  • A collaborative action plan by stakeholders and partner HEIs for leadership and teacher professional development.
  • Release enterprise solutions for HEIs in Southeast Asia countries.
Meeting Time

April 25-26, 2024

Participants

Senior officials of ministries in charge of higher education in Southeast Asia countries, representatives from international/regional organizations, presidents/vice chancellors, and representatives of higher education institutions (HEIs), global and regional experts, and senior executives of ICT enterprises.

Meeting Format

The meeting will be conducted in blended mode with limited online participation.
The language of the meeting is English.
