VP for International Affairs Visit Tsinghua University

On June 21^st , 2024, Associate Professor Palanee Ammaranond, Acting Vice President for International Affairs at Chulalongkorn University, visited Tsinghua University. The meeting, hosted by Professor Yang Bin, Vice President for International Affairs at Tsinghua University, focused on exploring ways to strengthen the relationship between the two universities, particularly through lifelong learning, short-term visits, summer camps, and joint degree programs. In addition, Vice President Yang Bin introduced a new model scholarship program that combines Bachelor’s and Master’s degree education at both universities with a reduced total study time. Students would receive degrees from both Chula and Tsinghua at the end of the program. The establishment of this scholarship program would appropriately commemorate the long-standing relationship between the two universities.
