PARE Spring School 2020
Chulalongkorn University hosted the PARE Spring School 2020 whose theme was “Hydro-Culture: How a River Affects Urban Ecology and life Quality” from 18 – 29 February 2020. As the name of this project suggests, the Populations-Activities-Resources and Environment Chain, or PARE in short, was established by Hokkaido University and its six partner academic institutions in Indonesia and Thailand with the aim of developing their personnel to become global leaders. They will subsequently be active in dealing with challenges in populations, activities, resources and environment in the ASEAN community.
The participants attending the PARE Spring School 2020consisted of following universities:
- 23 students from Hokkaido University, Japan,
- 4 students from Chulalongkorn University, Thailand,
- 3 students from Mahidol University, Thailand,
- 2 students from Chaing Mai University, Thailand,
- 1 student from Kasetsart University, Thailand,
- 3 students from Gadjamada University, Indonesia, and
- 3 students from IPB, Indonesia.
