[Call for Applications] Nagoya University Short Term Japanese Language Program Spring 2025

The Nagoya University Short Term Japanese Language Program (NUSTEP) provides two weeks of intensive Japanese classes Through participation in interactive Japanese language training classes, specialized lectures in the natural sciences or humanities, and visiting research facilities, you can experience Nagoya University’s excellent education and research activities! Aiming to promote comprehensive understanding of Japanese culture and society as well, the program also provides various on and off campus activities such as cultural excursions, field trips, home visits, exchanges and discussions with NU students Completing the program, participants obtain a certificate.

１．Program Period

２．Program Capacity
16 students
the minimum number of participants 8 students
３．Qualification
Applicants should be:
1) currently enrolled in a university which has an academic exchange agreement with Nagoya University and
2) have JLPT N2 N3 level or CEFR B1 or higher level of Japanese proficiency
４．Housing
International Residence Yamate South, Nagoya University
５．Participation Fee
140,000JPY(includes housing and travel insurance)
*Participants are responsible for travel expenses to/from Nagoya and expenses such as food and daily necessities.
６．Scholarship
８ students with outstanding grades will receive 80,000 yen in scholarships from the Japan Student Services Organization
