[Call for Applications] APRU Undergraduate Leaders’ Program (ULP) 2025 at Universidad de Chile
As part of the APRU annual program, Universidad de Chile is going to host this year APRU Undergraduate Leaders’ Program from July 20 to August 2, 2025!
With the theme “Future Global Citizenship Leaders: Addressing Pacific Rim Challenges”, this immersive two-week experience is designed to give undergraduate students a deep understanding pf the Pacific Rim’s complex political, economic, social, and cultural dynamics – particularly emphasizing the Latin American perspective. Participants will explore critical regional and global challenges, including intercultural dialogue, economic development, and environmental sustainability while developing their capacity as global leaders.
The program will feature seminars and workshops led by experts, interactive activities such as UN simulation models, and excursions to key international organizations. These activities will foster cultural exchange and a celebration of diversity, highlighting the importance of inclusion and mutual respect in global diplomacy.
Applicants will receive support from Chula according to this list:
- Registration fee (including Academic program costs, Transfers, Meals and Accommodation within the program)
- Airfare
- Travel insurance
- Visa application fee
- Cost for traveling within Thailand (Between your accommodation and airport, for both departure and arrival trips) (Not more than 500THB per trip)
Application Requirements:
- Updated CV (in English)
- One-page assessment (in English) explaining how you would represent Chula and contribute to our university, after participating (minimum font size: 14)
- Note: We recommend submitting the file in PDF format to avoid text shifting and formatting issues.
