The Office of International Affairs and Global Network Organizing “Learning Journeys Project” to Introduce International Students to Local Learning Spaces in Nan Province
The Office of International Affairs and Global Network organized the “Learning Journeys” project to promote experiential learning and foster discussion between international students and Thai youth living in areas facing social, cultural, and environmental challenges. This year, the program took place in Nan Province, known for its rich natural surroundings and local cultural heritage, but also vulnerable to recurring natural disasters.
Sixteen master’s and doctoral students from eight countries—China, Myanmar, Vietnam, Indonesia, the Philippines, Iran, Pakistan, and Cambodia—joined the program. Activities included site visits and learning experiences in places such as Si Nan National Park, Khun Sathan Village, and the Hmong ethnic community. The students also participated in cultural exchanges through food and shared their experiences during a group reflection session.
