An Official Visit to Chulalongkorn University by the Ambassador of the United Mexican States to Thailand

On April 11th, 2025, H.E. Ms. Ilse Lilian Ferrer Silva, Ambassador of the United Mexican States to the Kingdom of Thailand, paid a courtesy visit to Professor Wilert Puriwat, D.Phil., President of Chulalongkorn University. The meeting was also attended by Associate Professor Palanee Ammaranond, Ph.D., Vice President, and Associate Professor Pasuree Luesakul, Ph.D., Associate Dean for International Affairs of the Faculty of Arts. The event was held at the Chamchuri 4 Building.

On this occasion, the Ambassador expressed interest in expanding collaboration with Chulalongkorn University in various areas, including research and business. The Embassy and Chulalongkorn University have maintained a close relationship through cooperation in language and cultural teaching at the Faculty of Arts. To further strengthen the partnership between Chulalongkorn University and Mexico, the Ambassador invited the University to participate in activities celebrating Mexican Independence Day in September.
