Chulalongkorn University and Institute of Science Tokyo Discussing Future Research Collaboration

On April 11th, 2025, President Wilert Puriwat welcomed the representatives of the Institute of Science Tokyo, led by Prof. Naoto Ohtake, Ph.D., President and Chief Executive Officer. Chulalongkorn University Vice Presidents, along with the representatives of the Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, the Faculty of Dentistry, and the Chulalongkorn School of Integrated Innovation (CSII), were also in attendance. The meeting took place at Chamchuri 4 Building.

Chulalongkorn University and the Institute of Science Tokyo discussed potential research collaborations between the institutions, focusing on health, ageing, artificial intelligence (AI), and social enterprise. In addition to the faculties represented at the meeting, the Faculty of Medicine and the Faculty of Nursing may also be involved in the collaboration. The meeting concluded with an agreement to continue discussions on action plans to expand the research partnership.
