Call for Application for HKUST Overseas Study Program: HKUST Entrepreneurship Bootcamp

Mode: In-person
Dates: 6 – 12 July 2025 (7-day program)
Eligible Participants: Undergraduate and postgraduate students
Fees: Registration fee is waived, and the organizer will cover on-campus accommodation, airport transfers and main meals for Chula students.

Application and selection process:

  • HKUST will accept one (1) student from Chula for this program.
  • Interested students must submit their application and a one-page essay through https://forms.gle/gfPGPS51NeCb4sZE6 by May 12, 2025.
  • A committee will evaluate the application and select one (1) student for the Program.
  • The selected student will be notified via email by May 15, 2025.

ObjectivesHong Kong serves as a vibrant hub of entrepreneurship, characterized by a thriving startup scene and a supportive ecosystem that fosters innovation and growth. This bootcamp is designed to offer participants a glimpse into Hong Kong’s entrepreneurship ecosystem, providing an immersive experience for students to learn first-hand knowledge about the opportunities and challenges of starting a business in Asia.

Objectives:

-To introduce university students to the HK entrepreneurship ecosystem, including access to funding and market

-To provide university students with valuable insights and resources to help them start their business in HK

-To connect university students with local startups and innovative entrepreneurs
