Chulalongkorn University and Oklahoma State University Exploring New Opportunities for Academic Exchange
On 30th April 2025, Chulalongkorn University welcomed a delegation from Oklahoma State University (OSU) to discuss expanding academic collaboration and student mobility at the Chamchuri 4 Building.
The representatives of Chulalongkorn University — Assoc. Prof. Palanee Ammaranond, Ph.D., Vice President for International Affairs; Assoc. Prof. Parit Mekaroonkamol, M.D., Assistant Dean for International Affairs, the Faculty of Medicine; and Dr. Wuttichai Reainthippayasakul, Assistant to the Dean for International Affairs, the Faculty of Science — held a meeting with the OSU representatives, led by Prof. Randy Kluver, Ph.D., Associate Provost and Dean of OSU Global. They were joined by Prof. Jon Pedersen, Ph.D., Dean of the College of Education and Human Sciences (CEHS); Dr. Jeffrey Simpson, Assistant Dean and Director of Global Partnerships; and Ms. Ashley Haseley, Director of Global Engagement, CEHS.
On this occasion, OSU shared its plans to triple the number of outbound students and expressed a strong interest in partnering more closely with Chulalongkorn University. The Faculty of Medicine and the Faculty of Science highlighted their intention to promote student internships, post-graduate training programs between the two universities, and opportunities to host more inbound students from OSU.
