Chulalongkorn University Expands Global Learning Opportunities for International Students at the ‘Study in Thailand’ Pavilion in Jakarta
Chulalongkorn University continues to take proactive steps in promoting international education and strengthening its global network. A delegation led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Tewarit Sarachana, Assistant to the President for International Affairs, together with representatives from the Faculty of Architecture, Faculty of Commerce and Accountancy, Faculty of Economics, Faculty of Education, Faculty of Science, School of Integrated Innovation, and the Petroleum and Petrochemical College, as well as staff from the Office of International Affairs and Global Network (OIA), represented the University at the “Study in Thailand” Pavilion during the Talk Global Study Fair, organized by BMI in collaboration with Times Higher Education, held from October 11–13, 2025, in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Supported by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology of Indonesia, the event attracted thousands of enthusiastic students, parents, and high school counsellors from across Southeast Asia, providing an important platform for universities to engage directly with students aspiring to study abroad.
At the fair, Chulalongkorn University showcased its diverse range of English-taught and international programs, designed to prepare students for success in a rapidly changing global landscape. University representatives offered personalized consultations, shared insights into Chula’s academic excellence, and introduced the University’s inclusive, innovative, and multicultural learning environment that welcomes students from all over the world.
Beyond the fair, the delegation visited leading Indonesian international schools to explore potential collaborations, student exchange opportunities, and partnerships in curriculum development—fostering meaningful dialogue on enhancing educational quality and mutual understanding between Thailand and Indonesia.
During the visit, the delegation also had the opportunity to meet with Chulalongkorn University alumni in Indonesia. The warm reunion reaffirmed Chula’s enduring connections with its global alumni community and highlighted their important role as ambassadors of the University’s excellence and values in international arenas.

Chulalongkorn University’s active participation in this regional education initiative underscores its strong commitment to advancing International Growth—one of the University’s core strategic pillars—by expanding transnational education, nurturing global citizens, and creating pathways for outstanding international students to pursue their academic journeys at Chula, a vibrant hub for knowledge, innovation, and intercultural exchange.
