Call for Applications: Japanese Studies Program (JSP) 2026 at Doshisha Women’s College, Kyoto, Japan

Doshisha Women’s College invites applications for the Japanese Studies Program (JSP) 2026, designed for English-speaking female students whose first language is not Japanese. The program offers introductory Japanese language and Japanese culture and society courses conducted in English.

Program Highlights

  • One credit is awarded for each Japanese language course and two credits for each culture and society course (credit transfer subject to the home institution’s approval).
  • Participants from affiliated universities are eligible for a grant of 200,000 yen.

Schedule

  • Orientation: September 24, 2026
  • Classes: September 25 – December 15, 2026

Application Deadline: April 24, 2026 (Friday)
