Job description

The Office of International Affairs and Global Networks (OIA) has officially restructured its organization to support Chulalongkorn University’s goal of becoming a world-class national university that generates knowledge and innovation to drive Thailand toward a creative and sustainable society.

The new OIA structure consists of three divisions and two supporting units, with the following responsibilities:

1. Providing Leadership in Defining OIA’s Vision

Managing and overseeing various divisions and mission groups within the office, including:
• Global Academic Affairs Division
• Global Research and Innovation Promotion Division
• Global Networking and Global Engagement Division
• International Protocol and Information Support Service Unit
• Strategic Operation Management Unit

These units aim to enhance the university’s global presence and internationalization efforts.

2. Overseeing and Managing OIA Personnel

Ensuring that personnel can effectively create and deliver results aligned with the organization’s goals by:
• Managing human resources to maximize their potential and efficiency.
• Providing guidance and professional development opportunities for staff.
• Conducting performance evaluations and offering feedback for continuous improvement.

3. Leading Strategic Planning and Project Management

Managing strategic projects from initiation to execution, ensuring they achieve the intended outcomes by:
• Providing strategic guidance and leadership.
• Supporting staff in leveraging their potential to produce high-quality outcomes.
• Driving Chulalongkorn University toward its strategic objectives.

4. Overseeing Annual and Strategic Budget Management
• Ensuring the effective and efficient allocation of financial resources in each fiscal year.

5. Establishing and Strengthening Strategic Partnerships
• Collaborating with academic institutions, diplomatic entities, government agencies, international organizations, the private sector, and civil society to:
• Enhance Chulalongkorn University’s rol
