EMI Webinar Part 2 – Engaging Hearts and Minds: High Engagement through Collaboration and Inclusion

The ASEAN University Network (AUN) Secretariat, in collaboration with Macquarie University, is pleased to announce a three-part webinar series on English-Medium Instruction (EMI), tailored for faculty members involved in planning, administering, or delivering academic courses in English.

You are warmly invited to the second session, “EMI Webinar Part 2 – Engaging Hearts and Minds: High Engagement through Collaboration and Inclusion.” Scheduled for Friday, 12 December 2025, from 9:00 to 10:00 A.M. (GMT+7) via Zoom Webinar, this session will focus on building an inclusive and collaborative learning environment. The discussion will cover techniques for designing interactive group tasks, creating a welcoming classroom climate, and cultivating a safe space that empowers students to participate confidently without fear of judgment.

The session will introduce practical strategies to encourage meaningful engagement, build trust, and foster a sense of belonging among learners from diverse linguistic, educational, and cultural contexts.

Participants who complete the session will receive an e-certificate of participation, acknowledging their efforts in supporting effective teaching and learning in EMI settings.
