Chulalongkorn University Welcomes Kobe University Delegation to Strengthen Academic Collaboration
On November 3, 2025, Professor Dr. Ratsiri Thato, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, together with Associate Professor Dr. Prakorn Siriprakob, Dean of the Faculty of Political Science; Associate Professor Dr. Pachee Yuvajita, Language Specialist from the Office of International Affairs and Global Network (OIA); and Mr. Pinyo Jaroensuk, Lecturer from the Faculty of Nursing, welcomed a delegation from Kobe University, led by President Professor Masato Fujisawa, at the meeting room on the 18th floor of the Chaloem Rajakumari 60 Building.
The meeting aimed to enhance academic collaboration between the two universities. During the discussion, President Fujisawa provided an overview of Kobe University’s history, vision, and achievements, and introduced the Kobe University Global Innovation Campus initiative, which promotes global partnerships and student mobility in Asia.
Professor Dr. Ratsiri Thato expressed appreciation for the long-standing partnership between Chulalongkorn University and Kobe University, highlighting the ongoing student exchanges and joint research under the CAMPUS Asia Plus Program. Associate Professor Dr. Prakorn Siriprakob also presented his faculty’s international programs and conveyed interest in developing new academic collaborations. In response, President Fujisawa welcomed the proposal to expand the faculty-level partnership. Associate Professor Dr. Pachee Yuvajita concluded the meeting by summarizing the key discussion points and noted that the outcomes would be conveyed to further advance interdisciplinary collaboration between the two universities.
