2026 Fall Admission Now Open International PhD Program in Gerontology and Long-Term Care – Taipei Medical University, Taiwan

Taipei Medical University is now accepting applications for Fall 2026 admission to the International PhD Program in Gerontology and Long-Term Care. The application deadline is 12 February 2026.

This English-taught program is recognized as a leading initiative in aging studies in Asia and addresses the growing global demand for interdisciplinary expertise in aging health, long-term care, and related policy. The program brings together a diverse international student body and faculty with strong academic and professional backgrounds.

Eligibility includes master’s degree holders or expected graduates, MD degree holders with at least two years of professional training and publications, and bachelor’s degree holders with a minimum of five years of professional experience and publications.

Required documents include a graduation certificate, full transcript, proof of English proficiency, resume and personal statement, recommendation letters, and a financial statement.

Scholarship opportunities are available for outstanding applicants, including a monthly subsidy and tuition waiver. Additional government-funded scholarships may also be applied for.
