Special opportunity for 30 Chula members (students, faculty, and staff) to participate onsite in a Side Event of the 13th Asia Pacific Forum on Sustainable Development (APFSD 2026) titled: From Plastic Waste to Circular Solutions in South-East Asia
Date: February 27, 2026 (Friday)
Time: 10:30am-12:00nn (Registration at the UNCC starts at 8:30am, followed by an optional UNCC tour from 9:00am–10:00am)
Venue: Meeting Room H, United Nations Conference Center (UNCC), Bangkok
Organizers: Chulalongkorn University, ESCAP Subregional Office for South-East Asia, UNEP-COBSEA, and UN-Habitat
Participation Highlights:
- Participants will attend an official Side Event of APFSD 2026 at the United Nations Conference Centre (UNCC), Bangkok, and gain first-hand exposure to policy dialogue and regional initiatives on plastic waste and circular solutions in South-East Asia.
- An e-certificate of participation jointly issued by Chulalongkorn University and UN ESCAP.
- An exclusive tour of the UN building by UN ESCAP from 9:00am-10:00am.
Steps for participation:

- Participation is on a first come first basis.
- The first 30 registered participants will receive the event link for registration in the UN system for the event by February 4, 5:00PM (latest)
- Participants who receive the link will be required to officially register for the event through the link.
