Chulalongkorn University Strengthens Ties with Tsinghua Shenzhen International Graduate School

On February 25, 2026, a delegation from Chulalongkorn University, led by Associate Professor Dr. Palanee Ammaranond, Vice President for International Affairs and Global Engagement, visited Tsinghua Shenzhen International Graduate School (Tsinghua SIGS) in Shenzhen, China. The visiting delegation included Deans, Assistants to the President and the representatives from faculties, colleges, schools, and institutes.

The delegation was warmly welcomed by Professor Zuo Jian’e, Vice Dean, together with faculty members from several research institutes. During the meeting, the two sides exchanged views on potential collaboration across a range of academic disciplines, including Arts and Humanities, Biological Sciences, Physical Sciences, and Social Sciences. Discussions focused on joint research, academic exchange, and future cooperation frameworks that support long-term engagement between the two institutions.

The visit concluded with a laboratory tour at Tsinghua SIGS, providing the delegation with further insight into the school’s research facilities and ongoing projects.
