The French Ambassador to Thailand, Presenting de Palmes Académiques to CU Lecturer

On Tuesday, 8th March 2022, H.E. Monsieur Thierry Mathou, the French Ambassador to Thailand, presented de Palmes Académiques or the Academic Palms to Assistant Professor Dr. Niramon Serisakul, Director of Urban Design and Development Center, to honour her dedication and contributions to the Development of Urban and Regional Planning Programme in both Thailand and France, which especially focused the concept of Walkable and Green Cities. The event took place at the Residence of the French Ambassador in Bangkok.

The Urban Design and Development Center (UDDC) was founded on 8th March 2013 with the support of the Department of Urban and Regional Planning, Faculty of Architecture, Chulalongkorn University, and the Thai Health Promotion Foundation. The UDDC has initiated public projects that create an impact on not only Thai but also French and global society.
