An ASEAN Scholar’s Journey in China

We are pleased to invite you to the webinar, An ASEAN Scholar’s Journey in China, co-organised by The Young SEAkers and Schwarzman Scholars.

The Young SEAkers is a non-profit that brings together vibrant, competent ASEAN youth leaders who are passionate about advancing the ASEAN China region. TYS is the first and only Southeast Asia based NPO with a China and ASEAN angle.

Schwarzman Scholars is a fully funded, one-year master’s degree and leadership program at Tsinghua University in Beijing, China. At the heart of the program are world-renowned advisers, a rigorous and innovative study of global affairs, and hands-on exploration of Chinese culture and commerce.

With ASEAN-China’s ever-growing cooperation across various sectors, we see great importance and value for our youths to be exposed to the region’s diversity and develop cross-border competencies.  

As part of the greater outreach effort towards Southeast Asia, we hope this webinar will pique interest and understanding the importance of understanding China among participants.

Staff from Schwarzman Scholars will be providing an overview of what the prospective candidates can look forward to, Schwarzman Scholars’ Southeast Asian current students and alumni will also be sharing about their experiences!
