A Meeting with the Representatives of the Kyoto University ASEAN Center

On May 10, 2022, Chulalongkorn University (Chula), represented by Asst. Prof. Dr. Natt Leelawat, Assistant Dean (Communication and International Affairs) at the Faculty of Engineering; Prof. Dr. Siriporn Damrongsakkul, a lecturer at the Department of Chemical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rojana Pornprasertsuk, Assistant Dean (Academic Affairs) at the Faculty of Science; Dr. Ram Piyaket, Director of the Office of International Affairs and Global Network; Dr. Pattharaporn Suntharasaj, Director of the Division of Global Research and Innovation of the OIA and Ms. Noppamon Chieumsuk, Head of Degree Unit, Division of Global Academic Affairs of the OIA, had a meeting with the representatives from Kyoto University ASEAN Center, led by Prof. Dr. Eiji Nawata, Director of the Kyoto University ASEAN Center.

At the beginning of the meeting, both the Faculty of Engineering and the Faculty of Science provided an overview of their faculties. They also discussed about the scholarship schemes, specifically for Japanese students to Chula and types of visiting/exchange research students in Japan. Furthermore, all parties agreed to increase the number of mobility and to strengthen collaboration, particularly in engineering and food science.
