International Research Collaboration Opportunities for Chula Faculties
Chulalongkorn University International Research Trips Project

The Office of International Affairs and Global Network at Chulalongkorn University aims to support Chula staffs in establishing research collaborations with the world’s Top 100 universities. This initiative aims to significantly enhance the international research capabilities of our faculties. If you are looking for support to establish research collaborations abroad, this program could be for you.
Deadline:
Call for applications is open until 31 March 2025 (17:00 hrs. BKK Time).

- Lump sum daily living expenses (per diem) and accommodations
- Domestic and international transportations
- Travel insurance
Travel Policy: Chulalongkorn Announcement of Financial Management on Criteria and Payment Rates 2020, Unit 7, Part 2.
Expected Outcomes:
It is expected that the awarded application(s) will result in one or more of the following outcomes within 12 months after the completion of the trip:
- Publish at least 1 publication in an internationally recognized Tier 1/Q1 scholarly journal.
- Jointly apply for research funding from an international funding agency.
- Send PhD student(s) or postdoctoral researcher(s) to conduct research at the partner university and publish a joint publication.
Duration of Travel:
Each trip can last up to a maximum of 5 days (excluding departure and return travel days). Travel must occur between mid-April and the end of August 2025.

Eligibility:
To be eligible for support from Chulalongkorn University, your trip must meet the following criteria:
- All delegates, whether individual or in a group, must be staff from any discipline holding full-time employment at Chulalongkorn University.
- The researcher(s) you plan to establish a research collaborative with must affiliate to the world’s Top 100 universities in Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) World University Rankings 2025.
