Congratulations to Preyaphat Wongchaiya, a PhD student of the Department of Materials Science, Faculty of Science, who has won the NIMS ICGP 2022
“The International Cooperative Graduate Program (ICGP) is a program to accept graduate students from overseas universities with which NIMS concluded an International Cooperative Graduate Program (ICGP) agreement. NIMS can accept doctoral students for six months to a year to carry out collaborative researches with the partner universities. Students can conduct part of their thesis work at NIMS with the co-supervision by the staff of NIMS. NIMS accepts about 30 students from the partner universities each year.”

In July 2022, NIMS announced that Ms.Preyaphat Wongchaiya, a PhD student of the Department of Materials Science, Faculty of Science, Chulalongkorn University, conducting research under the supervision of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pornapa Sujaridworakun, has been selected as one of the Award Winners of the International Cooperative Graduate Program (ICGP) 2022 organized by the National Institute for Materials Science (NIMS), Japan.
Ms. Wongchaiya will conduct a collaborative research project entitled “Fabrication of Graphitic Carbon Nitride/Titanium Dioxide Composite Coated on Porous Alumina Tube by Electrophoretic Deposition” under the host supervisors, Prof.Dr. Tetsuo Uchikoshi and Prof. Dr. Tohru Suzuki, at the National Institute for Materials Science fromNovember 1st, 2022 – April 30th, 2023.
