Chula’s collaboration in the Project, ‘International Friends for Peace 2022’ to enable middle school students to present ideas to end violence and bullying in schools

On September 21st, 2022, Chulalongkorn University together with ISEC Thailand and Globish Academia (Thailand), two educational starts-up administered under the CU Innovation Hub, organized the project, ‘International Friends for Peace 2022’ on World Peace Day.

The event was the venue where thirty middle school students from ten teams presented their ideas on the topic, “After the bell rings, how can you and your friends help to reduce school violence?” Before the competition, Miss Kanyasorn Tansubhapol, Assistant Vice President for Secretary and Special Affairs, presented the opening remarks prior to lectures by experts on the topic of violence and bullies in schools. This is the first time in Thailand that this kind of event was accompanied by an award presentation ceremony.
