Invitation to APAC Liver Alliance: Hepatitis and HCC White Paper Launch Webinar
The APAC Liver Disease Alliance and Vista Health would like to invite you to a launch webinar on Tuesday 18th July, 3.00-4.15 pm (SGT) for a new White Paper on Hepatitis and Hepatocellular Carcinoma (HCC) in Asia Pacific.

Asia Pacific accounts for 63% of global deaths due to liver diseases. These are primarily caused by hepatitis and HCC. However, up to 90% of those infected with hepatitis remain undiagnosed and these individuals are also at high risk of developing HCC, which is the second deadliest cancer in Asia Pacific.
Presently, most global, regional and national organizations and initiatives focus on only hepatitis or HCC. This siloed approach has resulted in inadequate and poorly funded policy response of most governments to hepatitis and HCC. The White Paper thus calls for a policy response that combines hepatitis elimination and HCC control efforts to synergize efforts and reduce the economic and health burdens associated with both diseases.
Hepatitis and HCC experts such as Dr John Ward, Capucine Penicaud, Prof Kudo Masatoshi, Dr Raoh-Fang (Jasmine) Pwu will be speaking at the launch webinar. Alliance Director, Roberta Sarno, and Vista Health Director, Will Brown, will also be speaking about the Alliance and key findings of the White Paper respectively.
