Higher Education (HE) Transnational Education (TNE) Mission to Thailand by the Embassy of United Kingdom
On October 16th, 2023, delegates from Chulalongkorn University, representing 16 academic programs and faculties, along with members of the Chula Office of International Affairs and Global Network, actively participated in the Higher Education Transnational Education (HE TNE) Mission to Thailand 2023. This collaborative initiative took place at the Crowne Plaza Bangkok Lumpini Park, an IHG Hotel.
The event facilitated interactions between Chulalongkorn University and 12 distinguished institutions from the United Kingdom. Notable attendees included Aston University, Coventry University, Anglia Ruskin University, University of Southampton, University of Dundee, University of Exeter, University of Portsmouth, Arden University, University of Nottingham, University of Salford, Ulster University, and NCUK.
During the course of the mission, our representatives engaged in a productive lunch meeting, during which discussions centered on exploring potential agreements related to student exchange, research collaboration, and the establishment of joint or double degree programs with the UK counterparts.
Following the event, representatives from the United Kingdom visited Chulalongkorn University for a campus tour, accompanied by representatives from Chula Office of International Affairs. This visit further strengthened the ties between the institutions and fostered opportunities for future collaboration.
