Chula and Japan Women’s University Paving a Way for Collaborative Partnership
On February 21st, 2024, Professor Haruhisa Hasegawa, Ph.D., Director of the Media Center and a Lecturer in the Department of Mathematics, Physics, and Computer Science at Japan Women’s University paid a visit to Chulalongkorn University. This offered him the chance to meet the Chulalongkorn University representatives, including Associate Professor Nagul Cooharojananone, Ph.D., Director of the Bachelor’s Degree Program in the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science in the Faculty of Science, Assistant Professor Thippaya Chintakovid, Ph.D., Lecturer and Researcher in the Information Landscape Research Unit, Department of Library Science in the Faculty of Arts, and Dr. Ram Piyaket, Director of the Office of International Affairs and Global Network. The meeting took place in the Meeting Room on the 18th Floor of the Chaloem Rajakumari 60 Building.
Japan Women’s University has expressed its keen interest in establishing a general cooperation and student exchange agreement with Chulalongkorn University. Moreover, the collaboration will extend to joint research projects between Japan Women’s University and the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science in Faculty of Science, and the Department of Library Science in Faculty of Arts at Chulalongkorn University.
