Participation in the Asia-Pacific Association for International Education (APAIE 2024)
From March 4th-8th, 2024, the representatives of the Office of International Affairs and Global Network, led by Dr. Ram Piyaket, Director, participated in the Asia-Pacific Association for International Education (APAIE 2024) organized at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre (PCEC) in Perth, Western Australia. This conference was co-hosted by Curtin University, The University of Western Australia, Murdoch University, The University of Notre Dame Australia, and Edith Cowan University.
The APAIE theme of this year, ‘Collaborating for Sustainable Impact: Partnerships across the Asia Pacific’ aimed to redefine the post-COVID era of institutional partnerships and internationalization which is required to align with the concepts of the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals, inclusiveness and the utilization of technological advancement.
With over 2,082 participants from over 66 countries, the APAIE 2024 was a great success. The event provided the opportunity for the Chula delegation to build and strengthen partnerships with leading universities worldwide. This enabled them to expand collaborations with Chula’s counterparts and promote Chula’s international image as well as student mobility programs, in order to open the academic/research opportunity for our’s stakeholders.
