3-Week Startup Fellowship Programme at Sunway University

Fees + Accommodation + Transportation

  • USD 2,200 without accommodation per student
  • For this, we can provide a list of nearby accommodations that students can rent. However, this means that the entire process of searching and securing a rental unit will entirely be up to the students. However, keeping in mind that it is a short 3-weeks programme, securing a rental unit here in Malaysia for that short period of time will be very tough, and isn’t worth it. Other option would be to book their own Airbnb.
  • Transportation from self-rented accommodations to the university will not be provided. However, if students are staying within Sunway City itself, many of the accommodations are either connected via the Canopy Walk, or is connected via the free Sunway City shuttle bus.
  • USD 2,700 with accommodation per student
  • The accommodation for this package will be a single room unit at our student hostel, which is approximately 7-10 minutes walk to Sunway University. Alternatively, students could also use the free Sunway City shuttle bus to get to Sunway University. Any other methods of commute to Sunway University will not be covered.

Post Programme

  • By the end of the programme, students are expected to pitch and present in a physical Demo Day. Students will receive a completion certificate upon completion of the programme. As this is a non-credit bearing programme, post programme engagements will include feedback surveys to help us improve the programme, community sharing to promote entrepreneurial mindset and skills, as well as personal growth and testimonials to reflect on the aspects of their experience.
