[Call for Application] Country Informant for Asia-Europe Science & Technology Diplomacy Report
Asia-Europe Foundation (ASEF) calls for young academics, diplomats, professionals and students, aged from 18-35, to serve as a Country Informant in the research report titled “Asia-Europe Science & Technology Diplomacy Report”.
About the report
The research titled “Asia-Europe Science & Technology Diplomacy Report” seeks to outline the various national strategies, policy tools, and performance across 50 ASEF member countries, the European Union, and the ASEAN Secretariat. It aims to offer insights and recommendations to relevant institutions on opportunities for enhanced collaboration within and across the two regions.
About the role
A Country Informant will play a crucial role in gathering evidence, compiling information, and writing concise country profiles.
- Performing desk research based on a questionnaire provided by ASEF.
- Conducting 2-3 interviews with primary stakeholders in the field.
- Compiling the findings into a narrative country report.
- Participating in monthly check-in meetings with ASEF and fellow Country Informants.
The research will take place from June to October 2024. A Country Informant is required to allocate an estimated 10-12 hours a month to complete the above tasks within the aforementioned period.
