Chulalongkorn University Coordinating NTU Scholarship Information Session to Enhance Students’ Global Study Opportunities

On August 28th, 2025, the Office of International Affairs and Global Network (OIA), Chulalongkorn University, under the leadership of Assoc. Prof. Palanee Ammaranond, Ph.D., Vice President, coordinated the National Taiwan University (NTU) Scholarship Information Session, in the Chaloem Rajakumari 60 Building, Chulalongkorn University. The event was presented by the NTU staff with the facilitation and support by the OIA Chulalongkorn University, aiming to introduce the NTU’s academic programs and scholarship opportunities for Chulalongkorn University students who wish to explore their academic experience in Taiwan.
Assigned by Vice President Palanee Ammaranond, Ms. Chalathip Jayanama, Head of the International Protocol and Information Support Service Unit at the OIA, Chulalongkorn University, warmly welcomed Mr. Charles Wang, Deputy Director of Global Recruitment, Office of International Affairs, NTU. He was joined by two current NTU students, Mr. Nutchanon Jariyanurut, a Chulalongkorn University alumnus currently enrolled in the NTU’s Semiconductor Program, and Ms. Yanisa Saengcharoensuklert who is currently studying in the Faculty of Economics. They both shared valuable insights into academic life, scholarship opportunities, and their experiences at the NTU.
Approximately thirty students from Undergraduate, Master’s, and Doctoral Degree level, representing various Faculties, Schools, and Institutes of Chulalongkorn University, attended the session. The event offered practical guidance on academic opportunities abroad, helping students understand why Taiwan is an attractive destination for higher education, what makes the NTU a top choice for international study, and how to successfully navigate the scholarship application process.
This event underscores Chulalongkorn University’s commitment to advancing its strategies for International Growth, Intellectual Growth, and Integrated Growth, while also contributing to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 4 (Quality Education) and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals). By coordinating with NTU in this initiative, Chulalongkorn University continues to expand meaningful global learning opportunities for its students and strengthen international academic collaboration.
