[Call for Applications] Elite Scholarship – Doctoral Studies at National Pingtung University of Science and Technology (NPUST), Taiwan

National Pingtung University of Science and Technology (NPUST), Taiwan, is inviting lecturers from partner institutions to pursue doctoral studies in the following departments, starting in September 2026:

  1. Department of Tropical Agriculture and International Cooperation
  2. International Program in Ornamental Fish Technology and Aquatic Animal Health
  3. International Degree Program of Animal Vaccine Technology

With support from the Ministry of Education, Taiwan, the Elite Scholarship will be provided to successful candidates. The scholarship offers a monthly stipend of NT$25,000 for up to three years. Students will be responsible for tuition, miscellaneous fees, insurance, accommodation, internet use, and living costs.

Application process

  • Submit application forms and employment certificates by October 31, 2025 to: eric1967@mail.npust.edu.tw (application form attached).
  • Additional required documents must be submitted by March 31, 2026:
    1. Research proposal
    2. Master’s diploma and transcript
    3. Two recommendation letters
    4. English proficiency certificate (TOEFL ITP 457, IELTS 4.0, or TOEIC 550 minimum)
    5. Passport copy
