Chulalongkorn University Welcomes the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi to Explore New Horizons of Academic Collaborations 

On September 26^th, 2025, Assoc. Prof. Palanee Ammaranond, Ph.D., Vice President for International Affairs, together with Ms. Michiko Yoshida, Director of the Global Networking and Engagement Division at the Office of International Affairs and Global Network, welcomed the representatives from the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT) led by Prof. Anil Verma, Ph.D., Dean of International Programmes, Department of Chemical Engineering at Meeting Room1801, 18^th Floor of the Chaloem Rajakumari Building.

Prof. Verma shared an overview of the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT), India’s leading school of Engineering and Technology, which is ranked 26^th globally in Engineering and Technology by the QS University Rankings. On this occasion, the IIT Delhi delegates proposed potential academic collaborations with Chulalongkorn University, recognizing it as Thailand’s leading institution of higher education with a longstanding reputation across diverse disciplines, particularly Engineering. 

In line with Chulalongkorn University’s vision for creating international growth, Assoc. Prof. Palanee expressed her intention to embark on a collaborative academic journey with the IIT Delhi, beginning with joint research for international publications and exchange programs, to integrate expertise and insights from both institutions and their partners, and further advance knowledge sharing.
