Universiti Malaya Visits Chulalongkorn University to Advance Collaboration

On January 28, 2026, Chulalongkorn University representatives led by Professor Dr. Wilert Puriwat, President, together with Associate Professor Dr. Palanee Ammaranond, Vice President for International Affairs welcomed a delegation from the Universiti Malaya for a courtesy visit and discussion on future cooperation. The meeting took at the Reception Room, 7th Floor, Chamchuri 4 Building.

    • The Universiti Malaya delegation was led by Professor Dato’ Seri Ir. Dr. Noor Azuan Abu Osman, Vice-Chancellor, accompanied by Mr. Collins Chong Yew Keat, Special Officer to the Vice-Chancellor.

    The discussion focused on strengthening the long-standing partnership between the two universities and exploring new areas of collaboration. Key topics included academic and professor exchange, increased undergraduate and graduate student mobility, and joint research initiatives.

    Both sides also discussed the possibility of matching grants, collaboration in genetic and ageing society studies under AUN initiatives, and new forms of engagement in online education and non-degree programs. The meeting marked another step forward in the partnership between the two institutions.
