Presentation of an IU Bicentennial Medal 2020 to Chulalongkorn University
On January 28, 2021, through a virtual platform, Mr. Peter Boonjarern, Director of Indiana University ASEAN Gateway presented an IU Bicentennial Medal to Prof. Dr. Bundhit Eua-arporn, President of Chulalongkorn University in appreciation of the long-standing partnership between Chulalongkorn University and Indiana University. The event was witnessed by Assistant Professor Dr. Voraprapa Nakavachara, Assistant to the President for Global Engagement, and Ms. Sukalin Wanakasemsan, Director of the Global Academic Affairs Division of the Office of Internal Affairs and Global Network. This Medal was created to mark a long history of Indiana University and it has been presented to IU’s partner universities, including Chulalongkorn University, in recognition of the importance of their partnership.
On this occasion, President Bundhit also delivered a congratulatory message to Indiana University on the bicentenary of its establishment and to celebrate the relationship between our universities, which started in 1960 and has continued since then.
