President Bundhit Eua-arporn Meeting with the Representative of the Consulate- General of Uzbekistan in Bangkok

On September 9, 2021, Professor Dr. Bundhit Eua-arporn, President of Chulalongkorn, together with Asst. Prof. Dr. Voraprapa Nakavachara, Assistant to the President for Global Engagement, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nualnoi Treerat, Director of the Institute of Asian Studies, Dr. Ram Piyaket, Director of the Office of International Affairs and Global Network and Dr. Srawut Aree, Director of the Muslim Studies Center, Institute of Asian Studies, welcomed Mr. Nuriddin Mamatkulov, Acting Consul-General of Uzbekistan in Bangkok and Deputy Permanent Representative to the UN ESCAP via an online platform.

Both parties discussed a way to establish partnerships between Chulalongkorn University and the universities/institutions in Uzbekistan, particularly between the Institute of Asian Studies and the Center of Islamic Civilization, as well as how to broaden the scope of collaboration to other academic/research areas.
