A Meeting with the Representatives of the International Centre for Higher Education Innovation (ICHEI) under the Auspices of UNESCO

On April 28, 2022, Chulalongkorn University (Chula), represented by Asst. Prof. Dr. Voraprapa Nakavachara, Assistant to the President for Global Engagement; Dr. Ram Piyaket, Director of the Office of International Affairs and Global Network (OIA); Ms. Michiko Yoshida, Director of the Division of Global Networking and Engagement, OIA and Mr. Kulawat Puntarikkotok, Head of the Unit of International Protocol and Information Support Service, OIA, had a meeting with the representatives of the International Centre for Higher Education Innovation  under the Auspices of UNESCO (UNESCO-ICHEI), led by Mr. Hassan Adeel, Programme Specialist and Lead for Smart Classroom Project; Ms. Fan Li, Assistant Director, Chief, Asia-Pacific Programme Office; Mr. Lyu Feng, Assistant Director and Chief of the Management, Centre of the International Institute of Online Education and Mr. Bowen Tan, Senior Programme Officer.

During the meeting, Chula and UNESCO-ICHEI discussed the possibility of establishing partnerships in various activities to enhance the digital transformation of higher education, including teachers’ training, co-organizing events, establishing the Smart Classroom Project (SCR) and establishing the National Institute of Online Education (IIOE). Chulalongkorn University is delighted to further discuss these issues with UNESCO-ICHEI.
