[Call for Papers] 2022 AUA Academic Conference: 2nd International Conference on Water Technologies
The 2022 AUA Academic Conference: 2nd International Conference on Water Technologies is now calling for papers. The conference is jointly organized by Water Innovation Centre (WICTRE), IIT Bombay and Asian Universities Alliance (AUA), to be held on 1st and 2nd December 2022. The theme of the conference “Materials and Technologies for Water Remediation” is in line with the AUA themes of 2020-2023. The conference will be held in a hybrid mode.
The conference aims to promote development of materials and sustainable technologies for water and waste water treatment. The conference will address the needs through scientific discussions on current state of the arts innovations in terms of technological solutions along with the development of novel materials system. There will be plenary and keynote speeches, oral presentations and a poster session on different areas. Selected contributions will be considered for publication in special issue of Environmental Science & Pollution Research (Springer), Journal of Materials Research (Springer), Water Reuse (IWA) and Materials Open Research (T&F).

Mode:
The conference was proposed and approved by AUA Board as an online one. The organizing committee now provides the offline participation option. Should scholars wish to participate offline, they may contact the organizing committee directly regarding logistic issues. The AUA does not provide additional fund to support international travels.
Expected Outcomes:
– The AUA network extension through new research collaborations between participants as well as strengthening of the current network.
– Selected contributions will be considered for publication in special issue in Environmental Science and Pollution Research (Springer), Journal of Materials Research (Springer), Water Reuse (IWA) and Materials Open Research (T&F).
Eligible Candidates:
– Participants should be full time faculty members, researchers and postgraduates from AUA universities and non- AUA universities.
– Participants will be requested to submit unpublished works.
– There will be invited speakers from AUA universities as well as non-AUA universities.
Registration Process:
Registration and abstract submission are open. Registration of participants will be via Google Form (see the conference poster attached). Abstract and full paper submission will also take place through google form. If registrants have problems accessing Google Form, they may fill in the registration form attached (.xlsx document) and submit it with the abstracts to this email: wictre.iitb@gmail.com.
Deadline for Registration:
– Open registration. No nomination is required
– Due date for abstract submission: 31 Oct 2022
– Notification of acceptance: 15 Nov 2022
– Registrants, whose abstracts are accepted, will be invited by the organizing committee to submit full papers. The organizing committee will contact the registrants and instruct on how to submit full papers.
