[Call for Abstracts] AUA Academic Conference on the Application of Sustainable Life: Balancing Science, Technology, and Human Development
AUA is now calling for abstracts for the “5th Life and Environmental Sciences Academics Forum (LEAF) 2024 in conjunction with AUA Academic Conference on the Application of Sustainable Life: Balancing Science, Technology, and Human Development”, which will be held on 13-14 Aug 2024 at Universitas Indonesia campus.

| Eligible participants | Participants could be students, academicians, researchers, government employees, and industrial practitioners. Participants are from AUA members and other universities or organizations (non-AUA participants). Each participants should submit their abstract to be reviewed. Each accepted participant will get a Letter of Acceptance (LoA) from the organizing committee for the next instruction of registration and/or paper preparation. |
| Registration process | All keynote (speakers from Universitas Indonesia and Universiti Malaya) and all invited (Universitas Indonesia, Universiti Malaya, Chulalongkorn University, and Nanyang Technological University (non AUA)) are selected by the scientific committee and invited through email. Participants are requested to register with a short abstract through the system (http://conference.ui.ac.id/leaf/leaf2024/login?source=%2Fleaf%2Fleaf2024%2Fauthor%2Fsubmit ) and will pay the registration fee depending on their type of registration (international (non- Indonesia) or Indonesian participant) after they get the LoA from the committee. If the participant is not presenting their paper, they will the registration using the following link: https://bit.ly/RegistrationParticipant-LEAF2024 With the grant from AUA, the committee will cover 30 slots of free registration for participants (those who submit abstracts) from AUA universities. |
| Timelines | Deadline for Registration with Abstracts: July 29 (Mon), 2024 Deadline for Registration without Abstracts: August 10, 2024 Notification of Acceptance: Registrants will be notified of the acceptance of their abstracts on July 29-Aug 1, 2024, so they can choose to pay as an early bird after the announcement of abstract acceptance. |
| Fees for AUA member | For the 30 participants whose abstracts are accepted, they are exempted from paying registration fee, which also includes free coffee break and free meals during the conference. For registrants who will not present their research or who are not offered registration fee waiver, the registration fee is: -Indonesian participant: Rp 1.500.000, -International participant: USD 100. |
