Chulalongkorn University Delegation Exploring Channels to Collaborate with Nanyang Technological University
On February 6th, 2025, the Chulalongkorn University delegation, led by President Wilert Puriwat, visited Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in Singapore. The delegation included the Chula administrative team and representatives of the Faculties, Schools, Institutes and Colleges. They were welcomed by NTU’s Provost, Professor Ling San, and Professor Joseph Sung, Senior Vice President for Health & Life Sciences. Their discussions focused on potential collaboration between the two universities.
Following the initial discussions, the Chulalongkorn delegation was divided into three groups based on their areas of interest: Health, Science and Technology, and Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences. Breakout meetings were held with NTU’s representatives in the aforementioned areas, focusing on the talks with NTU’s Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine, College of Science, College of Engineering, Nanyang Business School, School of Social Sciences, School of Humanities, and Nanyang Centre for Public Administration.
This visit concluded with a debriefing session on feedback from the focus group discussions and a review on possible next steps of collaboration. The session was chaired by Professor Lee Pooi See, Vice President for International Engagement at NTU.
