Chulalongkorn University Delegation Paying a Visit to National University of Singapore
On February 6th, 2025, the delegates from Chulalongkorn University visited the National University of Singapore (NUS) to explore potential academic and research collaborations. The delegation was welcomed by the NUS President, Professor Tan Eng Chye, along with Vice Presidents and the representatives of various schools and colleges.
The Chulalongkorn delegation consisted of the University’s President, Vice Presidents, Assistants to the President, Deans, representatives of Faculties, Schools, Institutes, Colleges as well as the officers of the Office of International Affairs and Global Network.
The visit was well received by the representatives of NUS’s Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, Office of Student Affairs, NUS Business School, Faculty of Law, and NUS Museum, who discussed with the Chulalongkorn delegates in the areas of their expertise. Meanwhile, the delegates in the areas of Science and Technology met with their counterparts from NUS’s Faculty of Science, NUS Graduate School, College of Design and Engineering, and School of Computing.
Additionally, discussions also took place between Chulalongkorn’s Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Nursing, Faculty of Psychology, Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, and Faculty of Sports Science and NUS’s Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine to explore opportunities for further collaboration in healthcare and medical education.
The visit provided a platform for academic exchange and strengthened ties between the two universities, paving the way for potential joint initiatives in research, student mobility, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
